The theme in the Florageddon! slot game is all about the apocalypse and pending doom of the world with zombie-like plants taking over the world. The reels are set in a severely overgrown street, with the traffic lights, taxi and telephone box in the background being taken over by wild plants. The visuals are pretty simple but I like the way the winning symbols explode from the screen.

In terms of the soundtrack, it’s rather tense and suspenseful as you spin the reels. The music is slow and eerie, and it’s quite repetitive until you land a bonus feature. The audio dies down a little in the bonus feature, to be honest, I can’t really hear it too much. The sound effects are louder than the background music, but it sounds like a part of a film when you’re fighting or running away from the enemy.

On the reels, the A-J Royals make up the lower-paying symbols. The higher-paying ones include road signs, clocks, street lamps, fire hydrants, and 4 different types of plants. One of them reminded me of the Little Shop of Horrors film. They don’t pay too much compared to other slots, but the Sunflower is the most lucrative symbol. It awards 0.8, 2 or 5 x your stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.

Multipliers

This slot has all the makings of a fantastic game. The theme is great, the gameplay is great, and the max win potential is great. If you’re a fan of spooky or seasonal themes then this one will definitely be for you. It has some superb bonus features and can deliver some long win streaks.

It follows on from the likes of Multifly! and MexoMax! with the dropdowns and the multipliers. But both of those games fall well short in terms of max win potential compared to this one. I’d say it’s more closely linked to Yggdrasil’s Raptor DoubleMax as the visuals are very similar, albeit with a different theme. The max win potential is matched at 20,000x.

Overall, this is a fun game that delivers a high-energy experience with solid visuals and audio. It’s all about chasing those Dropdown sequences while fighting off those pesky plants and saving the world. It gets the obligatory thumbs-up approval from me.
