Valiant Knight Slot Review
Valiant Knight is powered by WMS Gaming and has 5 reels and 80 paylines. It uses the Super Multi-Pay engine, like Bruce Lee Dragon’s Tale, which means it’s a highly volatile slot. Anyway, you can play from as little as 40p a spin and the theme is that of a valiant knight who fights in medieval courts.
Valiant Knight has a unique reel layout as both wild and feature symbols replicate from the main reel set to the 3 smaller reel sets on the right-hand side. This can lead to bigger wins in both the base game and free spins feature. It also increases your chances of triggering the feature.
The main attraction of Valiant Knight is the Free Spins feature which can be triggered when you get 3 or more Valiant Knight feature symbols within each reel set. If you trigger on 1 reel set, you will get 10 free spins with a 3x multiplier. If you trigger on 2 reel sets, you will get 10 free spins with a 6x multiplier. Triggering on 3 reel sets gives you 10 free spins with a 9x multiplier. Finally, if you trigger on 4 reel sets, you will get 10 free spins but with a massive 12x multiplier!
The good thing is that you can also get additional free spins when you get 3 or more Valiant Knight feature symbols during the feature. An alternate set of reels is used in the feature with the main reel set appearing only. This is where I found most of the big wins to come from.
I quite like Valiant Knight as it sits somewhere in between Bruce Lee Dragon’s Tale and Gems Gems Gems. The variance is high but not quite as high as Bruce Lee Dragon’s Tale. I also like the theme better as it reminds me of my favourite WMS slot, Black Knight II (it uses the same sounds). Saying that, I’ve managed to win over 400 times my stake in the feature and that day, I was playing at £2 a spin.
