Red Flag Fleet Slot Review

Red Flag Fleet is a WMS Gaming video slot (otherwise known as Williams Interactive) – this is the second WMS slot to use the Reel Boost engine (following Zeus III) and has a unique 6 reel 192 payline layout. Playable from 40p to £80 a spin, the game is set in the early 1800’s waters of the South China Sea. It’s based on a legendary female pirate captain (Chang Pao) who stroke fear into merchants, pirates and the Navy. Your aim is to replicate her adventure in search for fortunes.

This game, like Zeus III, has a superb Free Spins feature which is triggered when you get 3 or more Ship Bonus symbols across the reels. 3 will reward you with 5 free spins, 4 will give you 12 free spins and 10 times your stake whilst 5 will give you 40 free spins and 50 times your stake.

The reels and paylines with then flip meaning that the appearance of the game looks mirrored – this improves your chances of winning big. Differently to Zeus III, 2 to 3 reels will randomly change to a wild reel on every single free spin. You can also get more free spins during the feature for 3 or more Ship Bonus symbols.

In terms of the win amounts, you can win a whopping 2,400 times your stake on every spin in theory which is the same as Zeus III. However, you will have less wins than Zeus III in the base game but they tend to be bigger. It’s harder to trigger the bonus feature in Red Flag feature which suggests that the big wins should come here.

I do really like Red Flag Fleet even though Zeus III is very similar and very popular due to the classic original slot. I do like the fact you will get a minimum of 2 wild reels in the feature where most of your big wins will come from – I have played the game and had bigger consistent wins in the feature than from Zeus III so it sets the game apart in that way. As with most WMS games, innovative and brilliant if you love your slots.
