Frozen Inferno is a WMS Gaming-powered video slot with 5 reels and 40 paylines. Playable from 40p to £200 a spin across desktop, mobile and tablet devices, you are given the option to play the frozen or inferno game. You will begin with a single wild symbol on the 7th position on the middle reel – it can freeze or move around the reel window with every spin.

In the Frozen game, the ice symbol freezes into a wild – wilds remain on the reels until you trigger a bonus feature. Up to 1 ice wild can be added per spin with a maximum of 4 frozen wilds on the reels at any 1 time.

In the Inferno game, the fire symbol (which becomes a wild) moves around the reels with up to 1 fire wild added per spin. A new wild is then added after the existing wilds move about. The inferno wild can go either up, down, left or right with the wilds remaining until you trigger a bonus feature – as with the Frozen game, a maximum of 4 fire wilds can appear on the reels.

The Bonus feature is triggered by collecting 5 Ice or Fire wilds – the feature begins with zero wilds on the reels which each reel having its own individual mode. Now, both ice and fire wilds can appear on the reels at the same time with the inferno wilds roaming to a position where a frozen wild is.

Each winning free spin will change 1 reel to the opposite element starting on the leftmost reel – this allows that element wild to land on the reels. Once all 5 reels change to the opposite mode, the bonus feature will end and take you back to the base game. The number of free spins continues until you get 5 wins.

Frozen Inferno may sound a little complicated but in fact is rather simple – it’s the first WMS game of its kind which excites me. I found the game to be a medium variance one with more wins coming in the base game. Saying that, the bigger wins will almost certainly come in the bonus feature.

Graphically, it looks fantastic with the symbols being really detailed. Frozen Inferno is surely one slot that will prove popular. I also recommend you play Nemo’s Voyage which was originally created by Phantom EFX (like Frozen Inferno).
