Yeti Battle of Greenhat Peak is powered by Thunderkick and has 5 reels and 11 paylines. Playable from 10p to £100 a spin across desktop, mobile and tablet devices, grab yourself a warm jack and get ready from an ice-cold adventure. It comes with a Wild Attacked feature where you get a respin with up to 3 sticky wilds – there’s also a Sticky Wild feature where up to 3 reels can turn fully wild. Finally, there’s a Bonus Game feature where you can get up to 31 free spins with sticky wilds.
You are taken to the Himalayas in Nepal where you come across a Yeti (the Abominable Snowman) – set on a snow-capped mountain, symbols on the reels include A, K, Q and J playing cards, lemons, cherries, melons and the Yeti himself – the latter is the most valuable symbol giving you 35 times your stake for 5 across a payline. The moustached character is the regular wild – he substitutes for any symbol except the bonus symbol.
The bonus symbol, what appears to be a golden carrot, is key to the gameplay – 2 of them anywhere on the reels will trigger the Wild Attack feature. You will then get a Wild Attack respin with between 1 and 3 additional sticky wild symbols appearing on the reels.
Any wild already on the reels that are not part of a win will become a sticky wild (the moustached character becomes frozen). The Sticky Wilds then lock in position are remain in place until they give you a winning outcome. Alternatively, you could also trigger the Bonus Game feature with 10 free spins awarded.
The other way to trigger the Bonus Game feature is by getting 3 or more bonus scatter symbols – 3, 4 or 5 will give you 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively. Look out for more bonus symbols during the feature as each one activates 1 step on the Wild Attack Meter.
Every 3 bonus symbols will give you an extra random sticky wild as well as 3 additional free spins until the meter is full. If you fill the meter, you will get 5 more free spins with a total of 31 available in total. Furthermore, any wild symbol not part of a win will be locked in position until it’s part of a win. In total, you could benefit from up to 3 extra sticky wilds during the feature.
Yeti Battle of Greenhat Peak is quite a simple game which is all about the wild and sticky wild symbols – the Wild Attack feature triggers quite frequently which is good. The biggest wins will undoubtedly come in the Bonus Game feature where you can get plenty of sticky/locked wilds with plenty of free spins.
Saying that, it’s a low to medium game with maximum payouts of 845 times your total stake on each spin/free spin. It’s a decent slot which looks superb and has good bonus features – however, I’d much rather play something more volatile like Wild Heist at Peacock Manor (from Thunderkick) where you can win 8,483 times your stake on every free spin!
