Unfortunately, even after well over 250 spins, I couldn’t trigger the bonus game naturally. Having resorted to activating the Bonus Buy feature, I was able to reset the Free Spins 4 times and hit x8 multiplier, bringing my total win to 64.20x from 13 Free Spins.

Bet+ Feature

By activating the Bet+ feature, you have better chances of hitting certain symbols on each spin. The feature has 2 options:

At first glance, the visuals looked too colourful, more like a retro party-themed slot. The blurred background didn’t help matters—a background displaying stacked bowling pins on the alley would have done better justice to the theme. Nonetheless, I like the humorous animations on the bowling pin during Respins.

While the 3,000x max win and low RTP will not allow it to rank among the best real money slots, it impresses in other aspects. I like the innovative idea behind combining Walking Stacked Wilds with respins and increasing multipliers; it is indeed impressive. The win-both-ways pay system also adds to the game’s appeal.

I experienced prolonged dry spells on some occasions, which is somewhat shocking considering the game’s 23% hit frequency. Overall, the Split Happens slot is intriguing, but it’s best suited for casual players or those looking to play slots for free.
