Not Enough Kittens is a 5 reel, 35 payline slot from Thunderkick – available to play on all devices from 10p to £100 per spin, this is the purrfect game if you can’t get enough of cats! With double cat symbols including a wild, it benefits from stacked wilds in the free spins feature.

Visually, Not Enough Kittens takes a bird-eye view of Professor Catarina Kettingur’s laboratory – this is situated at the P.U.S.S facility where she is Head of Science. With a gentle soundtrack, symbols on the reels include 5 different coloured balls of string and 4 cats. Each cat can appear as a double symbol too.

Each single cat symbol can double in a payline that includes a wild symbol – this can lead to double wins naturally. The most lucrative cat, the black one, can therefore give you payouts of 100 times your stake if you get 10 on a payline.

There’s also a wild symbol which substitutes for any symbol except the scatter – if a wild is included in a winning combination, the cat is doubled. The wild symbol is stacked in the Bonus Game feature – more on this below. Value wise, 10 wilds will give you 100 times your stake.

The Bonus Game feature is played when you get 3 or more Free Spins scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 – 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters will reward you with 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins respectively. The Free Spin scatter can also appear as a double symbol which makes it easier for you to trigger the feature.

As mentioned, all wilds are stacked in the feature meaning you can benefit from much bigger wins. 3 or more scatters during a free spin will also retrigger the feature giving you up 50 free spins in total.

I must say, Not Enough Kittens is a strange slot – visually, it looks superb albeit a little odd. The double cat symbols can lead to wins of up to 100 times your stake on each payline but the likelihood is quite small. I found the bigger wins coming from the Bonus Game feature due to having stacked wilds during the free spins.

It’s a medium variance slot with maximum wins of 3,650 times your stake available on each spin/free spin – if you want something different, Not Enough Kittens is worth a look. Saying that, it’s a little too odd for me so I’d rather stick to other Thunderkick offers like Full Moon Romance and Pink Elephants.
