The Money Track 2 slot is played across 5 reels, 4 rows, and 40 fixed paylines. Wins are created in the regular way – simply land 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols on consecutive reels, along a payline, from left to right.

The reels hang against a futuristic, steampunk train, with a western landscape in the background. Money Train 3 had a serious steampunk vibe, whilst the original Money Train had a Wild Western theme… these are just the facts!

Whether Stakelogic set out to troll Relax Gaming or not, Money Track 2 does look and sound excellent. The graphics are sharp and twanging guitars help to build tension.

On the reels, lower paying symbols include 10 to Ace royals, whilst the upper-end of the paytable is made up of a motley crew of cowboys. The red cowboy is the slot’s highest paying symbol, paying out 12.5 x your bet for a 5-of-a-kind combination.

Money Track 2 also comes with sheriff badge Wild symbols and Train symbol scatters. Wild symbols substitute for all regular symbols and payout up to 12.5 x your stake too, whilst you’ll need 6 scatters to trigger the bonus round.

Train Heist Feature

In the base game you can land Train symbols on the reels. For every train symbol that lands a 1 x multiplier is added to the reel’s respective meter.

You then need to land a Train Heist symbol to collect all multipliers from above the reels. After that, the multiplier meters are reset and start to build again. It’s a simple way to boost your winnings in the base game.

Cash Bonus Feature

In addition to aiding the Train Heist feature, Train symbols also also necessary for the Cash Bonus feature. Above the reels, in the base game, you’ll see the 4 cowboy characters. Train symbol multipliers are also added to these character meters.

The game starts on level 1, with the blue cowboy character unlocked. However, if you collect more Train symbols in the base game, you can unlock extra characters and Cash Bonus Enhancers.

You must land 6 or more Train symbols to trigger the Cash Bonus feature. You then receive 3 free spins to begin with, on a new set of reels. On these reels, only the unlocked Bonus Enhancer symbols and Train symbols may land.

Both symbols hold in place after each spin, and drop to the lowest space on the reel. The aim is to create a complete row of 5 symbols on the bottom row. Doing this awards you all multipliers on the screen and resets the spins to 3.

If 2 rows are completed in the same spin, you unlock the next Bonus Enhancer symbol, giving you extra rewards and multipliers.

We couldn’t write this review without mentioning the similarities between the Money Track 2 slot and Money Train 3. The graphics are very similar, as is the name. Luckily, this means Money Track 2 looks fantastic. What’s more, pop the hood and the games are actually very different.

When it comes to gameplay, the Train Heist feature helps to add excitement to the base game. Multipliers can stack up here quite quickly, though they’re often lost without a Train Heist symbol feature landing. Fortunately, these multipliers add to the character meters too.

The Cash Bonus feature is definitely where the action and big wins take place. If you manage to unlock enough bonus enhancers, you’re set with your best chance at grabbing those 50,000 x max wins.

Overall, whilst Money Track 2 might not be as disruptive as its inspiration, there’s a lot to enjoy. In fact, it’s definitely one of Stakelogic’s stronger slots. Why they packaged up these entertaining features without a unique theme, we’ll never know.
