But if I were to comment on the visuals when comparing them to these popular slots, I think Stakelogic wins. There’s nothing fancy here but the graphics are very sharp and look great.

The soundtrack is quite mellow as you spin away in the base game, but the intensity increases when the Free Spins feature lands. It almost sounds like a cross between going into battle and a fairytale if that makes any sense whatsoever. I know what I mean but it’s difficult to explain. Eric’s Big Catch slot is a fairly good game to play. Stakelogic states “Grab your fishing gear, cast your line, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure on the reels!” I wouldn’t say it was unforgettable, but I didn’t mind the gameplay on display. I think it would certainly suit players who have not experienced the aforementioned titles that it resembles. If you’ve played the games before this release then you’ll probably struggle to understand the appeal.

After testing this slot thoroughly, I did enjoy the Free Spins feature as it brought a different element with the respins and the free spins together. It was also nice to see a Viking instead of another popular fisherman we’ve all seen before in other titles. But beyond this, the 4,000 x max wins aren’t that high compared to other slots and the overall gameplay just didn’t get me as excited as some of the competition. This is an average slot in my opinion, which is why I’ve given it an average score.
