The soundtrack follows this path too, and it’s almost like we’re at a dramatic part of a fairytale with how the audio sounds. That’s not to say I don’t like it because I do. It’s certainly different.

The visuals also remind me more of a Mayan-like slot, with the stone bison heads on either side of the reels and the blocks as the symbols. If you’re looking for a typical Native American-themed slot, you’re in the wrong place. This Bison Blocks slot from Stakelogic is refreshingly different. When you take a unique slot and add in an above-average RTP rate and 15,000 x max wins, you’re onto a winner. And that’s the case with this one. I like it. I also like the fact that only winning symbols stay on the reels during a cascade rather than being removed.

The gameplay is pretty straightforward, to be honest. There’s a base game with cascades and a Free Spins feature where retriggers are possible and multipliers have no upper limit. But I think that’s what makes the slot work. It’s easy to understand, the visuals are solid, the soundtrack is good and, overall, it’s just easy on the eye and a fun twist on the usual slots we see. I’ve been guilty of complaining that there are far too many of the same slot at times, so it’s great to see Stakelogic come up with something a little different here. It gets a thumbs-up from me.
