The background has had an update, going from a casino to a ship, and everything truly dials into the theme.

The sounds are incredible. I actually felt like I was listening to a classic Popeye or Betty Boop cartoon; the music matches the theme so well. The sound effects are what slot lovers will expect, as the reel spinning provides a tapping sound, perfect for the sound of the slot landing. Winning spins play a small tune, which matches the theme.

It’s an extremely colourful slot, perfect for the overriding theme. It really grabs your attention when it starts, and it shows Slotmill has put plenty of effort into making this game look the part. I love it when developers take the time to make a game visually appealing, as part of the fun of slots is becoming immersed in the world they create.

Win Respins

The first bonus feature in Money Jar 2 is the win respin round. Whenever you create a winning line, all winning symbols respin on the reels. It will land either the same symbol, a wild, a power-up, or a scatter. The respins continue for as long as new wins are created.

Power-up symbols can land on any spin. There are three possible power-ups: wild magnets, wild payers, and a mystery symbol. The wild magnet turns into a countdown wild with the counter equal to the number of wilds on the screen. The wild payer adds 1 to the count of all wilds on the screen and then turns into a wild. Finally, the mystery symbol adds multiple instances of the same symbol to the reels and transforms into a wild.

Countdown Wilds

When wild symbols land during the win respins. These wilds have a countdown timer, remaining sticky until the timer runs out. Every spin reduces the countdown by one.

Extra Chance

When the respins finish, players get an extra chance if there are two scatter symbols on the reels. It respins the spaces adjacent to the scatters. Only coins or money jars can land, if just coins land it creates an additional collection win, if another money jar lands it will begin the bonus round.

Coin Bonus Free Spins

When three scatters land, players can choose the bonus round they like. If they choose the coin bonus round they’ll find it features the scatter symbol at the centre. It awards 6 spins, and whenever coins land near the scatter, the scatter collects the coins. If the scatters land next to one another, they combine to create a larger number. At the end of the round it adds up the scatters and pays out the number multiplied by the stake.

Countdown Wild Free Spins

If you choose the countdown wild bonus game, you get a more traditional free spin experience. It awards 8 free spins to begin. When wilds land, they remain in place until they create a win. If they create a win, they add to the multiplier and increase the size of wins. Extra life symbols add additional spins.

Buy Feature
