The Super Tiger slot is played on 5 reels and has 10 paylines that pay both ways from left to right and from right to left. The symbols simply need to be consecutive along a payline, and only the highest win is paid per line.

Stakes range from just 10p up to £300 per spin, thus catering to all pockets. Hit the coins icons next to the spin button to adjust your total bet. Autospins and turbo spins may also be options in your country. If they are, you will see these icons below the spin button, as you’ll see from the screenshot below.

The Super Tiger RTP is 96.1%, which is slightly above the industry average for UK slot games. Regarding volatility levels, it’s in the low to medium range and rated as 2 out of 5 by the provider, which is great to see. It’s also important to note that the hit rate is 1 in 4.45.

The maximum win is 10,000 x the bet, which is typical of a lot of Skywind Group slots. This is best achieved in the Super Tiger Respin feature due to the expanding wild. More on that further down. There’s also a progressive jackpot up for grabs, which always starts at £2,500 as a minimum payout.

Theme – discover the spirit of the super tiger

The theme in the Super Tiger slot game might seem like it’s all about tigers and animals from the title, but it’s in fact a gemstone theme, with the tiger only appearing as a Wild. Skywind has produced similar games such as Super Wolf and Super Lion in the past. This just seems to be another variation of these, albeit with a better max win potential.

The red background looks like the game could well be set somewhere in the Serengeti, with trees and animals appearing above the reels. With a futuristic feel and a fun soundtrack, the slot is very easy to understand. The simple gameplay will appeal to many players. Whenever a winner lands, the audio is very upbeat, which adds to the appeal of the game overall. Without a win, the soundtrack is pretty basic, albeit pleasant.

On the reels, the low and high-paying symbols are all made up of different coloured gems and a red 7 symbol. The purple gem symbol pays the most, awarding 5, 20 or 30 x the bet for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.

The game’s Wild is a Tiger, obviously. It substitutes for all symbols and can trigger the Super Tiger Respin feature. More on that in a moment.

Super Tiger Bonus Features

There are 2 main bonus features in the Super Tiger slot game. You’ve got a Super Tiger Respin feature and a Jackpot feature. Let’s run you through both so that you fully understand everything that’s going on.

Super Tiger Respin Feature

This feature is triggered in the base game of the Super Tiger slot game if you manage to land a Wild in reels 2, 3 or 4. The wild symbol will expand to cover the entire reel. Any Wild win from the original spin will be awarded first. Then the free respin occurs with the Wild reel locked in place, as shown in the screenshot above.

Any new Wilds that land on reels 2, 3 or 4 during a respin will trigger another respin with the Wilds from the previous spin locked in place.

Jackpot Feature

As well as the different coloured normal gems that land on the reels in the base game, there are also yellow, green, red, pink and blue shiny gems that could land. If you manage to land any 5 on a payline, you will win the progressive jackpot shown above the reels. As I was using a demo to test the slot, a jackpot value wasn’t showing, but the jackpot will always start out at £2,500 as a minimum.

Super Tiger Review Summary – too basic to be considered above average

We’ve had a couple of solid instalments of this series with Super Lion and Super Wolf, and we were hoping for some sort of improvement here with the Super Tiger slot. Unfortunately, it’s much of the same and nothing really jumps out for me as exciting when you compare the game to many other 2023 releases. So many of the best jackpot slot games include numerous bonus features but this one is really basic. That does make it easy to understand though, which can be seen as a positive for some players.

The 10,000 x max win potential isn’t too bad at all, and the RTP rate of 96.1% alongside the low to medium volatility levels are all plus points. There’s a progressive jackpot too, which will appeal to many.

But the action didn’t excite me personally. Maybe I was hoping and expecting more here, which is why I’m a little disappointed. Even during testing, I didn’t experience any big wins, which suggests they’re hard to come by. But if you enjoyed the previous 2 releases from this series, you will probably enjoy this one too, even though there’s no real difference.

An extra bonus feature would have taken this release to another level. It gets an average rating from me, but feel free to try our demo and decide for yourself.
