Coin of the Nile Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
The reels for the Coin of the Nile slot are standard for the industry. It uses a 5×3 grid and 10 paylines. Depending on the icon, it creates wins with between 2 and 5 symbols on a line. It’s similar to classic online slots, so it might feel regressive for fans of Megaways slots.
I played with £1 in the free slots version, but the available range covers all budgets—you can wager between 10p and £300 in the Coin of the Nile slot game. All controls are on the right, which seems to be standard for new slots. If you’re playing outside UK online casinos, you can set the autoplay or turbo spin, and the controls are underneath the spin button.
The Coin of the Nile RTP is 96.34%. It’s set at a solid level, almost competing with the best RTP slots on the market. There is also a lower version at 94.39%. The volatility is high, and I definitely noticed it while compiling my Coin of the Nile review. With just 10 paylines and relatively high-value symbols, every spin felt volatile.
You can win up to 5,000x your stake as the Coin of the Nile max win. It’s slightly low for the variance level but still above many games on the market. In the Coin of the Nile demo my best win was 220x my stake, which was in the bonus round, as all wins there are tripled.
Coin of the Nile Theme—Nothing New in the Nile
If you load any online slot sites, you’ll see hundreds of Egyptian games. Therefore, it’s essential to stand out from the crowd. Unfortunately, Skywind hasn’t tried anything new here. I found it massively disappointing, as I’ve always enjoyed Skywind Group’s games, and some of their titles are truly innovative.
When you load up Coin of the Nile casinos, you’ll instantly be taken to the exterior of a pyramid. It’s a nice background with plenty of colours aligning with the theme. The symbols all look fine, but they aren’t any different from other Egyptian slots.
The sounds are the best part of Coin of the Nile’s theme. There’s a fun Egyptian tune playing throughout the game that speeds up when the Free Spins begin. It helps to create an atmosphere that feels in line with the theme and is better than the generic music lots of games use.

Coin of the Nile Mobile Slot
When first loading up the Coin of the Nile mobile slot, you won’t spot any difference between that and the desktop version. The layout remains the same, and the graphics are identical. It’s highly responsive, ensuring it’s no challenge to spin the reels. Any mobile casino player will enjoy the small-screen version, as it’s straightforward to get started.
Coin of the Nile Bonus Features
The Coin of the Nile bonus features are limited. While it offers some extra ways to play, they’re not innovative, and there aren’t a lot in place.
Wild Symbol
The Wild symbol doubles any wins that it’s part of. However, it won’t double wins when it’s purely made up of Wilds. It’s a minor issue, though, as the Wild is the highest-paying symbol.
Free Spins
When you land at least 3 coins on the reels, the Free Spins round begins. You get 15 spins for the round, and all wins are tripled. The Wild symbol is active during the feature, so any wins with Wilds are multiplied by 6. If you land 3 coins again during the feature, it awards an extra 15 spins.
Bonus Buy (Unavailable in the UK)
You can trigger the Free Spins by paying 100x your stake at any time. It awards 15 spins just like the base game, but doesn’t award the 5x payout from the coins.
You can also double the size of your stake, which triples the chance of coins landing.
Coin of the Nile Verdict: Not Bad, but Not Great
Coin of the Nile is another Egyptian-themed slot with little originality in place. That’s not to say it’s a bad game; I enjoyed the gameplay, with the Wilds helping to create some decent payouts. However, better games are out there, which makes it hard to truly get behind it.
The bonus round is the main highlight here. When it triggers, it triples the size of all payouts, ensuring it’s more lucrative than the base game. Additionally, there’s the potential for the Free Spins to be endless. If you continually land extra coins, there’s no cap on the number of extra 15 spins you can win. Combined with the Wild symbol, the chance for 6x the size wins makes it a fun bonus round. However, there’s a lot of waiting for it to happen, which isn’t surprising due to its high volatility. Coin of the Nile is okay, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.
If you enjoy Egyptian-themed slots, there are plenty of options available. One of our favourites is Egypt Clusterbuster from Red Tiger. It combines a cluster pay system with a higher win level for lots of fun.
