Tower Quest Slot Review
Tower Quest is powered by Play ‘N Go and has 5 reels and 20 fixed paylines which can be played from 20p to £100 a spin. You will engage in a heroic battle to defeat he evil wizard as you encounter friends and foes on your quest with fiery dragons and ferocious orcs. Available to play on mobile/tablet devices, it has wild symbol, 2 free spins scatters and a bonus scatter.
In terms of bonus features, look out for the Evil Wizard bonus scatter as 3 of them on reels 1, 3 and 5 will trigger the Bonus feature. Here you get to play a game of cards against the evil wizard – you need to roll the dice to determine which cards you will play with.
The vertically adjacent cards in play battle each other with the attack value being compared to the health value. Every card you defeat will give you a cash prize and inflict damage to the evil wizard. If you or the evil wizard roll the same number on 2 or more of the dice, a special attack takes place which gives out 1 damage to each enemy card and player.
If you get the same numbers on all 3 dice, the super power triggers double the attack value of that player’s card. Your aim is to reduce the evil wizard’s health to zero. This feature is the most lucrative in Tower Quest with a maximum 500 times your stake available.
Then there are more bonus features which are based on collecting the free spin scatter symbols (the red flash and the blue flask). If you collect 5 blue flasks, you will activate the first blue feature (The Tower Free Spin feature). The middle reel (reel 3) is wild for 1 free spin with all wins multiplied by 2 (2x multiplier).
Then you have the Battle of the Wilds feature which is triggered when you collect 10 blue flasks – the 5 highest paying symbols become temporary wilds for 1 free spin. The best is the Towers of Dark Power feature which is playable when you collect 15 blue flasks – here reels 1, 3 and 5 become fully wild for 1 free spin.
When you collect 5 red flasks, you will trigger the Empowered Wilds feature where all wild wins are subject to a 3x multiplier for 5 free spins. When you have 10 red flasks, you will activate the Wild Adventurers feature with the 2 highest paying symbols being wild for 5 free spins. When you collect 20 red flask symbols, you will play the Everburning Wilds feature – a sticky wild is added to the reels at the beginning of each free spin (you will receive 5 free spins).
Tower Quest is an entertaining fantasy-themed slot which reminds me of Games Global’s Avalon 2. I found it to be a medium variance slot with the biggest wins possible being 250 times your stake in the base game and 500 times your stake in the Bonus feature. Tower Quest is a welcome addition to the Play ‘N Go portfolio and one I think will become popular. If you like Play ‘N Go titles, check out Pimped and Pearls of India.
