There’s a glossy look to the visuals in Owls. The setting is a magical forest. On the reels you’ll see shards, chests, books and swords and a trio of higher paying owls. The best of these is the owl in the red cloak which offers payouts of 33.33 times your stake if you land 5 on a payline. Those same payout amounts are on offer from the wild which substitutes for all of the standard symbols.
Owls comes with a Scatter Loot feature – this becomes active if you land a full stacked wild on the middle reel. You’ll then get a special scatter style payout which, with wilds, can deliver 6 and 7-symbol combinations. There’s a suitably magical feel to Owls. The visuals are excellent and there’s a fantastical soundtrack playing in the background as you spin. No complaints about the design here. The range of extras isn’t wide but they deliver enough variety to keep things interesting.
