Juice ‘N’ Fruits Slot Review
Playson has gone back to the future with Juice ‘N’ Fruits, a classic 5 reel, 10 payline online slot. If you’re a fan of old-school fruities you’ll find plenty to enjoy here. Stakes range from 10p to £50 per spin. Most of Playson’s slots tend to fall into two categories. They’re either lavishly illustrated and packed full of features or incredibly simple in terms of visuals and bonus rounds. Juice ‘N’ Fruit is most certainly one of the latter offerings.
The only bonus extra is the Gamble feature which allows you to double your win if you correctly guess the colour of a playing card. Guess the correct suit to quadruple your win. You can gamble up to 10 times.
The rest of Juice ‘N’ Fruits is all about the base game. The reels are full of the type of fruity symbols you’d expect to see on an arcade one-arm bandit from the good old days. Think oranges, lemons, grapes, oranges, melons and of course cherries.
The biggest payer isn’t a fruit at all though. The number 7 symbol can most definitely prove lucky, especially if you find five of them on a single payline. That happy outcome will deliver a bumper jackpot of 5,000 times you line bet. The next biggest payers are the melon and the grapes which offer payouts of between 50 and 500 times your line bet. The other four fruit symbols payout between 50 and 200 times your line bet.
The brightly coloured graphics are cartoon-style and are perfectly fine, as is the soundtrack. There’s nothing particularly flashy about either but they do the job required. Juice ‘N’ Fruits isn’t likely to appeal to players who’ve grown accustomed to highly complex slots full of features and bonus features.
It’s as simple as it gets. We originally described the Playson offering as old-school and we meant it. The action wouldn’t look out of place on an original brick and mortar slot machine. If you fancy travelling back in time to sample something from a more simple age then Juice ‘N’ Fruits is worth a look. It’s still possible to win big too, with the 5,000 times your stake payouts more than welcome then or now. However, I much prefer the more ‘modern’ slot as such with games like Wild Hunter and Odysseus being recommended.
