Art of the Heist is a 5 reel, 21 payline slot powered by Playson. Available to play on desktop, mobile and tablet devices from 21p to £63 per spin, the game is based on cat burglar Vincenzo who aims to steal treasures from a guarded museum. Art of the Heist will remind you of Pink Panther.
Visually, it has cartoon style graphics and is set in an old museum – you will see playing cards (A, K, Q and J) as well as crowns, statues, walkie talkies, security guards, mummies and museums on the reels. The highest value symbols are both the crown and treasure chest wild which award you 300 times your line stake for 5 on a payline. The treasure chest wild also substitutes for all symbols except the bonus symbol.
That bonus symbol is the painting with 3 or more anywhere in view triggering the Bonus Game feature – 3 of them will give you 40 times your stake with 4 giving you 100 times your stake. 5 of them will reward you with 300 times your total stake!
In the feature, you have to guess in which room the discharge switch is hidden – your aim it to switch the whole alarm system off. Art of the Heist is quirky and fun – on the variance scale, it sits in the low to medium range. I do like it but Playson has produced better slots – namely the higher variance ones like Dracula’s Family and Wild Hunter.
