The design in Wild Nords is fairly typical of a Red Tiger Gaming slot – the reels are set within a Viking homestead and include Norse style A to 10 playing cards and a trio of wooden shields bearing an animal motif. The best of these is the bear which pays 300 coins if you land 5 on a payline. Winning combinations can be made starting from reels 1 and 5.
There are also 3 wilds – all of them replace all the standard symbols and offer payouts of 30, 100 or 300 coins if you land 3, 4 or 5 in a line. Each wild character can trigger its own special extra:
- Bjorn: Nord of the Bears feature – he will transform the bear shield symbols into wilds. Those wilds are then locked in place and a free respin follows. If new bear shield symbols appear, you will get another respin.
- Rolf: Nord of the Wolves feature – land Rolf and he will transform wolf shield symbols into wilds. Once again, a free respin is awarded with the sticky wilds in place. Like with Bjorn, new wolf symbols give you another respin.

Wild Nords is an impressive looking slot -the imagery and animations are very high end. The same is true of the stirring soundtrack that’s a quality fit for the epic theme.
