Finding hidden treasure in a mysterious cave is the goal in Mystic Wheel, a simple 5 reel, 30 payline slot from Red Tiger Gaming. Land 3 bonus symbols on the same spin to trigger the Mystic Wheel feature which can deliver prizes of up to 10,000 times your stake. Play on all devices from between 20p and £10 per spin.
There’s a fantasy feel to the design in Mystic Wheel - the setting is a crystal-filled cave. On the reels you’ll find club, diamond, spade and heart symbols. More rewarding are the key, ring and medallion symbols. Best of the lot is the diamond. Land 3, 4 or 5 of these in combination for a payout of 2, 5 or 10 times your stake.
The only other symbol on show is the Mystic Wheel. Land 3 or more of these on the same spin and you’ll trigger the game’s Mystic Wheel feature. You’ll then be awarded 1 spin of the Mystic Wheel for each bonus symbol on the triggering spin. The segments on the wheel offer a variety of awards. Most of them are numerical multipliers which are applied to your total stake if the pointer lands on 1 of them.
You’ll also see + signs with number attached. For example, land a +4 and all the multipliers on your next spin would be boosted by 4 so 5x becomes 9x and 10x becomes 14x. There’s also a Double All which does exactly what it says on the tin, doubling the value of all the multipliers. You can also add more spins of the Mystic Wheel to your total. In theory, a maximum of 77 spins of the wheel are possible with jackpots of up to 10,000 times your stake!
There’s nothing very complicated about Mystic Wheel. The sound and visuals are nicely done but the range of extras is rather limited. You won’t even find a wild here let alone any free spins. That said, the Mystic Wheel can deliver some decent action if you manage to get some extra spins and double ups early on in the wheel spins.
It’s not a slot we’ll be rushing back to but for some straightforward magic-themed action, Mystic Wheel does the job. I also recommend you try Red Tiger Gaming’s The Equalizer which is excellent.
