Don’t be alarmed when you launch the Blobsters Clusterbuster slot. What looks a little confusing is actually just a 9×9 grid, with a cluster pays mechanism. Unlike most grid slots, however, you’ll find the middle 9 positions are filled up by a giant blob. This is Red Tiger Gaming’s Clusterbuster mechanism, which we’ll talk more about later.

Clusterbuster Feature

As mentioned earlier, in the middle of the grid you’ll find a 3 x 3 block occupied by Blobby himself. Form a win next to this block and the adjacent lights on Blobby ’s UFO light up. If you can light up all the lights during one spin, or via subsequent spins in a tumble sequence, you’ll unlock one of the extra bonus features mentioned below.

It’s worth noting that Blobsters Clusterbuster is a tracked progress slot. By this we mean that certain bonus features are only unlocked after others. Your progress is tracked above the reels, and it’s important to know that if you change your stake size, your progress resets.

Upgrader Feature

Frenzy Feature

Supersize Feature

Invader Spins Feature

The Blobsters Clusterbuster slot is a very entertaining title with great graphics. The graphics are fantastic across all devices and while we’re sure players will either love or hate Blobby’s personality, we found him endearing.

In terms of gameplay, although many of the bonus features are similar to those found in other Clusterbuster slots, such as Dragons Clusterbuster, there’s still a lot to enjoy. We found the Supersize feature to be notably lucrative, but when you unlock the Invader Spins feature the real fun begins. With added multipliers, extra spins, and the chance of triggering other features too, this bonus round gives you the best chance at reaching those 7,517.1 x stake max wins.

The only downside to Blobsters Clusterbuster is that it favours players with patience, and a large bankroll. As you need to work your way through 3 other bonus features to reach the Free Spins round, it isn’t for those who want some quick spins. What’s more, the slot’s high volatility means triggering even 1 bonus feature can be costly, never mind the fact that you can’t lower your stake without losing your progress.
