Play The Fruit Factory Slot for Free & Review

Enter The Fruit Factory, a juicy, 5 reel, 20 payline slot from Realistic Games. As is obvious from its name, we're in classic fruity territory here, albeit with a fresh modern look. The big extra is the Reel Runner bonus feature which is played on a new set of reels that features just 1 selected fruit, jackpots and blanks. Play from between 20p and £200 per spin.

The reels in The Fruit Factory have an industrial look - symbols include pastel coloured playing cards alongside plums, strawberries, pineapples and melons. The melon is the tastiest fruit, offering payouts of 1,000 coins if you land 5 on a payline. The pot of coins if the most lucrative standard symbol - a 5 symbol combo will get you 5,000 coins. There's also a wild that replaces everything bar the Reel Runner scatter.

Land 3, 4 or 5 scatters and you'll trigger the Reel Runner Bonus feature (activating the bonus with 4 or 5 scatters also awards a payout of 10 or 250 times your total stake).

First press the stop button which will randomly decide which fruit will be the chosen symbol during the feature - the action takes place on a new set of 9 reels in a 3x3 grid that offer 8 paylines. The only symbols on view are your chosen fruit, jackpots or blanks.

Press the spin button - the reels will keep on spinning until you land a winner. Press the spin button again. This will select 1 of the reels which will re-spin with all the wins on the 8 paylines paid.

The last of the 9 reels to spin will turn red with the others turning green. Press the spin button which will randomly select 1 of the reels. If it lands green, you'll be granted a re-spin. Keep on picking and re-spinning until you land the red reel which brings the feature to a close.

The Fruit Factory also offers the option to play in Super Game mode. This is a series of 5 linked spins where all Reel Runner symbols are also wild - they'll also remain frozen in place when they land. Extra prizes are on offer in the bonus too. This will set you back 10 times your standard stake.

At first glance, The Fruit Factory may look like a classic fruity - the base game action is certainly pretty standard. The Reel Runner Bonus feature offers something very different though. If you enjoy old school, one arm bandit style slots but fancy a modern-day twist, then The Fruit factory should deliver some sweet entertainment. If you like this style of game, Novomatic have plenty.
