With an apocalypse theme, the Cash Truck slot is set in a post-apocalyptic world where resources are scarce. A truck loaded with cash (i.e. Cash Truck) roams across the desert highway which is being targeted by a gang of wasteland warriors. The renegades are arms with electric boomerangs, boosters, Molotov cocktails, dynamite and homemade weapons. They aim is to intercept the truck before it reaches its final destination and grab all its riches.

With a thumping heavy rock soundtrack, the reels are set are the back of the cash truck which moves along the highway as you play. You are set with the gangland warriors’ vehicle it seems. The atmosphere is quite intense and reminds me the Mad Max films.

Symbols on the reels include heart, diamond, spade and club royals on bottle beer tops. Then you have spiked baseball bats (reminds me Negan’s Lucille from The Walking Dead), jerrycans and spinning blades. There are also 4 gangland warrior characters. The eye patch-wearing gangland warrior is the highest value symbol giving you 1, 2 or 5 x stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.

There is also a wild symbol that substitutes for all symbols except the bonus scatter. The wild pays up to 5 x stake too. The bonus scatter is represented by a skull.

As mentioned, the Cash Truck slot is one the best games I’ve come across in terms of graphics and soundtrack. Engaging, loud, intense and high-adrenaline, it feels like you’ve joined Negan and the Saviors (sorry, I like The Walking Dead series).

The game is all about the Truck Raider Bonus Game feature. The key to winning big is to land plenty of special symbols to boost your winning potential. I found the Grabber, Super Grabber and Doubler special symbols to give me the biggest payouts. A few of these early on can see you squeeze every last dollar bill from the truck.

With 25,000 x stake max wins possible, expanding the play area up to 16,807 ways to win can also give you the top win. Overall, Cash Truck is a superbly-produced slot game which has it all.

Saying that, it has a lot of similarities to Relax Gaming’s Money Train 2. The main bonus feature is almost identical and even the theme/appearance has some resemblance. What Cash Truck does better is the Doubler special symbol. Money Train 2 does have a higher RTP (96.4% vs 96%) and a max win of 50,000 x stake (double that of Cash Truck).
