The visuals are good and I like the traditional audio that accompanies the gameplay. Push Gaming has done a brilliant job of mixing suspense with traditional and futuristic melodies.

On the reels, the A-J Royals make up the lower-paying symbols. The mid-paying symbols are the gun and the boot. The higher-paying ones are the female and male characters. The male character symbol pays the most, awarding 1.5, 7.5 or 50 x bet for 3, 4 or 5 in combination respectively.

Instant Prize Symbols

Instant Prize symbols are bet multipliers that will only land on reels 1 and 5. When the matching combination with at least 2 Wils on consecutive reels is formed, that’s what the Instant Prize will pay. The matching combinations can be created both ways from right to left and left to right.

Nudging Wilds feature

When a Wild Stack lands on the reels, this bonus feature is triggered. The Wild Stack will nudge 1 position while the other reels spin as normal. The process will repeat until all the Wild Stack symbols disappear from the reels.

Gamble feature

This bonus feature is triggered by landing a Scatter on reel 1 and the Gamble Scatter on reel 5. The prize won inside the Gamble Scatter can be forfeited for a chance to win 1 of the higher Free Spins prizes or Wild Stacks in the base game by selecting the Gamble option. Note that this may or may not be available in all territories.

When I first loaded the Samurai’s Katana slot and began spinning away, the Nudging Wilds got me thinking that I’d seen it somewhere before. I had. This feature is in the Tiki Tumble slot, which is a fun game with higher max win potential than this one. The provider has given a new lease of life to the Nudging Wilds feature here with new elements to enhance the overall feature; Instant Prizes and a Gamble Scatter symbol.

The RTP rate is well above average at 96.4%, which is great to see in a time where some providers are releasing slots with an RTP rate of around 94%. We don’t have any information on the free spins frequency or the hit rate, but I can tell you that I only managed to trigger the Free Spins feature once during testing over hundreds of spins. But once you’re in, it’s great fun and there are unlimited free spins up for grabs.

Overall, the theme won’t suit everyone, but Push Gaming’s unique take on the genre will appeal to many players. The maximum win potential might not be the largest around at 10,000 x bet, but it’s still a good game to play with multipliers up to 100x and fantastic aesthetics.
