With a potato theme, the Royal Potato 2 slot is the sequel to the very popular Royal Potato released In December 2021. Graphically better than its predecessor, the original charm shines through but brighter. Like crisps (which are made from potatoes), you won’t be satisfied with a handful or two so you keep coming back for more. With a regal feel, you’ll first notice the jovial/classical soundtrack that you’d expect to hear at a formal occasion or wedding ceremony.

The setting seems to be a royal throne which is set amongst a potato field. You’ll see 4 potato statues surrounding the throne. Print Studios has put a lot of effort into making this sequel better aesthetically at least. On the reels, you’ll come across blue, green, orange and purple flowers. The higher-value symbols are represented by Kennebec, Russet, Yukon, Désirée, Queen and King potatoes which all have their character/charm.

Visually more impressive than its counterparts in the original slot, the King Potato is the best-paying symbol rewarding you with 3, 10 or 50 x bet for 3, 4 or 5 across any payline. A screen full of King Potato symbols will result in a 1,500 x bet win.

There is no traditional wild symbol in the base game but the Jumbo Potato Wild appears in the Spud Spins Bonus feature (more details below). Royal Potato 2 Review Summary: bigger and better than the original slot

When Print Studios released Royal Potato, it caused quite a stir in the online slots world because no other provider had created a game like it. Oddly based on spuds/potatoes, the detail and characterisation of the potatoes was something none of us had encountered before.

With that in mind, Print has a tough act to follow with the Royal Potato 2 slot game. With richer and better graphics, Print Studios has achieved this aesthetically at least.

In terms of the gameplay, it stays true to the original game with SuperSpinner multipliers, the Royal Levy feature and free spins with a growing Jumbo Potato Wild. Yes, it’s like some of Push Gaming’s most popular slots including Fat Rabbit and Fat Santa.

What is different is the new Potato Sack feature during the free spins. Landing fairly frequently (for me at least in demo mode), it will give you Golden SuperSpinners and extra free spins most of the time.
