The Towering Fortunes slot is all about luxury and living your best life. The reels are set in front of what looks to be Singapore although I could be wrong. There’s a big wheel to the right of the reels that could well be the Singapore Flyer. It could even be the London Eye along the River Thames, but I’ll guess the upmarket look of Singapore. Either way, it’s got a rich feel to the slot overall.

There’s not too much going on in terms of animation, but the graphics are colourful and bold enough to grab your attention. In terms of audio, it’s got a very relaxing feel to the soundtrack, kind of like the background music to a love song or something along those lines. Land the bonus feature and everything intensifies – the background turns purple and the audio speeds up to give off a more disco-like vibe. I like how simple it is – nothing’s over the top even though the theme suggests it could have been.

On the reels, the A-J Royals are the lower-paying symbols. These are joined by higher-paying whiskey glasses, sports cars, yachts, and private jets. There’s also a female character who is wearing some expensive-looking jewellery. The female character is the most lucrative symbol, paying 2, 20 or 50 x your stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.

Land 3 or more Money symbols anywhere on the reels to trigger this bonus feature. Before it begins, the normal reels disappear to be replaced by an 11×5 grid. The money symbols that triggered the feature will drop to the bottom of the screen and the feature begins. Only blanks and money symbols are active here.

Each reel has 3 lives, and after 3 respins with no new money symbols, that reel is blocked as the feature continues with the other reels. A new Money symbol landing will reset the lives back to 3. The Towering Fortunes slot may not promise towering fortunes as such, but the max win potential of 6,422 x your stake isn’t too bad at all. It’s above many other Pragmatic slots but less glamorous than some other games that share the same theme. However, it is better than Microgaming’s Diamond Sands slot, which offers 4 fixed jackpots and a Free Spins feature with multipliers up to 25x.

When I look at everything on offer here it’s not a bad slot. I was just hoping for more bonus features. The RTP rate is well above average, which is great to see, but this is probably the standout thing from everything available, and it shouldn’t be. I wanted to be applauding the bonus features, the visuals or the max win potential but, in all honesty, it’s all fairly average.
