While the Nolimit City one goes for a smoother sound, this one is more Hip Hop in my opinion and the initial audio sounds like Dr Dre’s Still D.R.E track.

I like the colourful background of what looks like the streets of LA or New York. The bold colours on the reels make everything ‘pop’ if that makes sense. The design is very eye-catching.

Land the Free Spins feature and the reels move inside to a swanky bar and the audio switches to a more upbeat sound with heavy bass. I much prefer the audio here compared to the base game, but that’s just my opinion. I also like the quotes from the gangsters above the reels as winners land and multipliers increase during the Free Spins feature.

On the reels, the A-J Royals make up the lower-paying symbols. These are joined by poker chips, baseball caps, cars, boomboxes and gold chains as the higher-paying symbols. I’ve already mentioned Nolimit City’s East Coast vs West Coast above, and it’s hard not to compare the two. The Money Men Megaways slot doesn’t come close to Nolimit City’s Hip Hop release in my opinion for many reasons. However, this is still a very good slot with 10,000 x max wins, unlimited Free Spins and Wild Modifiers that could lead to bigger wins.

What I really liked were the visuals and the soundtrack in the base game as well as the bonus feature. Pragmatic Play always tries to match the audio to the theme perfectly, and sometimes it doesn’t come off, but here it has, in a big way. I can’t fault it.

Overall, if you’re a fan of gangster and hip-hop-themed games, you’ll no doubt enjoy this one. I would have liked to see more bonus features.
