The Snakes and Ladders Megadice slot will appeal to certain players, especially those who have fond memories of the classic board game. Visually, it’s not the best game I’ve come across. NetEnt’s Street Fighter II: The World Warrior slot is much better for example.

Whilst the wild multipliers keep the base game ticking along, it’s all about the Snakes & Ladders Board Bonus feature for obvious reasons. It encapsulates the board game perfectly in my opinion. The ladders will propel you up the board but I found that even landing on a snake can lead decent wins, especially if there’s a stake multiplier at the bottom of the snake.

I found this feature to be a novel approach the trail bonus element found in slots like Rainbow Riches. However, this game offers 5,300 x stake max wins as opposed to 500 x bet in the Irish luck classic.

Overall, Pragmatic Play need to be commended for trying something new in a bonus feature. It’s clever how they’ve incorporated the board game into the feature in a way that’s exciting and potentially rewarding.
