With a Chinese theme, the traditional sound and visuals in the Floating Dragon slot are very easy on the senses. Hold and Spin feature

The Hold and Spin feature is triggered when you land 3 coin symbols on the middle reel on the same spin. Those symbols will come with a cash value of between 1 and 20 x stake attached. They are held and the rest of the symbols are removed from the grid. You’ll then receive 3 respins on reels made up of blanks, coins and diamonds.

The Free Spins feature triggers when you land 3, 4 or 5 dragons on the same spin. Your reward is 10, 15 or 20 free spins.

You’ll see that fish symbols come with cash values attached. Whenever a wild symbol lands, she collects the values of all the fish symbols anywhere on the reels on that free spin. Each wild that lands is also collected in a meter.

Once you have collected 4 wilds, you’ll get a retrigger with 10 more free spins added to your total. This also brings a multiplier into play. This 2x multiplier is applied to the cash values applied to the fish symbols which are collected by the wild woman.

Floating Dragon Review Summary – nice take on the classic Chinese theme

I rather liked the Floating Dragon slot. There’s a classy feel to the rather understated design which impresses.  The gameplay stacks up pretty well too. I’ve seen similar features in other slots but free spins, cash collects and multipliers are a cracking combination.

The bigger wins will come from the diamonds in the respins or from the multipliers in the free spins. 5,000 x stake wins per spin is pretty decent. A word of warning about the variance here though. This is more volatile than you might expect from its gentle pastel design.
