I really enjoyed what the Excalibur Unleashed slot had to offer. The only negative really is that it didn’t offer too much. I would have loved to see more bonus features. That would have taken it from a good slot to a great slot in my opinion.

I like the theme, the visuals and the soundtrack. I just can’t decide whether it’s a bit too left-field when trying to create a game around King Arthur’s Excalibur using animals. You know what? I’ve thought about it. I enjoyed it, so yes, it works. they’ve already released The Knight King, and something like this had to be done differently really, didn’t it?

I must admit that I didn’t enjoy too many big wins while testing, but I guess you can put that down to the super-high volatility levels. Nevertheless, someone has to land the max win, right? The hit frequency is generous and the probability of landing the top prize is lower than a lot of other slots on the market.

Overall, Pragmatic Play has done a great job here, but I just wish there was another bonus feature. it felt like something was missing for me, although it is still a thoroughly enjoyable game.
