Colour Tumble feature
After every paying symbol win, all clusters on the reels with a minimum of 5 symbols with backgrounds of the same colour, adjacent anywhere vertically or horizontally, will explode and disappear. The remaining symbols will then fall to the bottom of the reels and any empty positions are replaced with symbols dropping from above.
Colour Tumbling will only begin if there is at least 1 background colour cluster present on the reels after any paying symbol win. The tumbling will continue until there are no more background colour clusters on the reels.
All symbols that explode will be collected into a meter that you will see to the right of the reels in the screenshots above and below. For every 20 symbols collected, a 1x multiplier is added to a win multiplier. The win multiplier resets after every base game spin but stays active throughout the Free Spins feature.

Diamond Cascade Review Summary: a unique win mechanic can lead to big wins
I wasn’t overly keen on the visuals when I first loaded the Diamond Cascade slot. The audio isn’t anything to write home about either. But if you can look past that to enjoy the mechanics and the bonus features then you will enjoy this game. I like the Colour Tumble feature and I’m sure it’s not going to be the last time we see this. I fully expect a clone of this slot with a (hopefully) better theme down the line.
A lot of Pragmatic slots these days tend to have max wins in the 5,000 x region, so it’s nice to see this with 8,000 x max wins alongside an above-average RTP rate too. While the gameplay can come across as a little boring at times, once you manage to enjoy a run of cascades, the wins can start ramping up. I must admit that I was able to enjoy some fairly big wins during testing, which bodes well considering the volatility is meant to be super high.
