The Demon Pots slot has a 5×4 reel setup and is played using 40 paylines. All symbols pay from left to right on selected paylines, beginning from reel 1. Only the highest win is paid per line and when winners land on multiple paylines, all wins are added to the total win.

Head to the depths of hell as the theme here is all about the devil. However, the soundtrack is quite upbeat, so you wouldn’t think it was a slot about demons if you closed your eyes. The reels are set in front of burning flames, although it’s fairly standard-looking. So too are the symbols.

When the devil lands on the reels, the animation does improve the overall gameplay. It’s a nice touch. Land a bonus feature and the audio speeds up to sound almost like you’re progressing through a level in a 90s video game.

He’s not as scary looking as you may expect, and the soundtrack certainly doesn’t help with that, but I don’t think Pragmatic’s angle is to unnerve you here, although I think that could arguably have been the better option. Demon Pots Bonus Features

Coin Symbol

Wilds

When a Wild lands as well as a Coin symbol, all values of the Coin symbols in view are collected and paid. After the spin, the Wild can throw fireballs towards 1 or more pots from the top of the reels as you’ll notice in the screenshots. Sometimes it will activate 1 or more pots randomly.

Here’s what happens when certain pots are activated:

Win Spins feature

When this feature is triggered, 6 respins are awarded. The Wild that triggered the feature will remain in the centre of the reels for the duration of this bonus round. All respins are guaranteed to give a random win, coming from either collctes, features or winning combinations. Activating the Win spins pot again will retrigger the feature and award 6 extra respins.

Free Spins feature

When this is triggered by a Wild in the Demon Pots slot game, 6 free spins are awarded. That Wild again remains in the centre of the reels for the duration of the bonus round. Any of the pots above the reels can be randomly activated during this bonus feature.

A fully stacked Wild can appear on reels 4 and 5. If it is present on reel 5, there is a random chance that a fully stacked Wild symbol will land on reel 4 on another free spin. These fully stacked Wilds are sticky and will remain on the reels until the end of the bonus round.

All coin values are multiplied by 3x if there is a fully stacked Wild on reel 5. The coins are multiplied by 6x if there are fully stacked Wilds on reels 4 and 5.

If you manage to activate the Win Spins feature during this bonus round, the sticky Wilds on the screen are first cleared. However, the Coin values will be multiplied by 3x or 6x if there were sticky Wilds present before this feature was triggered. Once the Wins Spins feature ends, the sticky Wilds are put back onto the reels for the remaining free spins.

You know when you think that Pragmatic should deviate away from the usual? I think they should stick to that now. They do it so well – altering the theme, sticking with a typical Free Spins feature with maybe 1 or 2 other features thrown into the mix. I’ve played the Demon Pots slot game in depth and I have to be honest, I wasn’t a fan. It’s different, I’ll give you that, but I didn’t enjoy it.

When you strip the game back and look at the figures, it has all the makings of a very solid slot. 6,000 x max wins, an RTP rate of 96.01%, a hit rate of 1 in 2.81. It’s just the gameplay that lets it down. I didn’t enjoy any big wins during my testing, although the wins I did land were very frequent. But don’t let my own experience dampen yours.
