Theme – battle in the gladiatorial arena

The reels are set inside a gladiatorial arena, but you can’t make out the arena as there are 4 gladiators surrounding the reels. The graphics are basic, but at least there’s some colour on the reels that make the symbols pop.

The soundtrack certainly fits the theme well with dramatic audio as you spin away as if you’re about to go into battle. Land the Free spins feature and the reels turn into 4 5×3 grids, which are also set inside the gladiatorial arena with a suspenseful soundtrack as you spin the reels. While the visuals aren’t the best, the gameplay makes up for it.

On the reels, the A-10 Royals make up the lower-paying symbols. The higher-paying ones include a trident, a sword, a helmet, armour and a treasure chest. The treasure chest symbol pays the most, awarding 1.66, 3.33 or 16.66 x the bet for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.

Chase for Glory Slot Review Summary – are you not entertained?!

Was I not entertained?! No, no I wasn’t actually. I appreciate what they’ve tried to do in the Chase for Glory slot with the unique bonus feature and the choice of 4 different Champions for the bonus round. I’m glad they did that as the Free Spins feature is what elevates the slot as the base game is rather dull in comparison.

But when you compare it to another similar slot released around the same time, Gladiatoro, I don’t think you can put an argument forward for this as the better one. The RTP rate might be better but the max win potential is lower at 7,887 x the bet and the bonus features along with the visuals just aren’t up to scratch in comparison.
