Theme – a candylicious wonderland

I love this theme. Probably because I love sweets, but I like spinning away with the vibrant colours in front of me. The visuals are fairly basic but the bright colours make it very appealing and eye-catching. The reels are set in a candy wonderland, much like previous releases from this provider with Sugar Rush and Sweet Bonanza.

In terms of the soundtrack, it’s hard to know what fits well with this kind of theme, but Pragmatic has done well here with a simple, melodic sound. If you sped it up a little it would definitely feel like you’ve got UK Garage playing in the background, which is a throwback to the 90s and early Noughties.

Land the Free Spins feature and the audio feels more dance-like as you use your free spins. I always appreciate a change in tempo when switching from the base game to a bonus feature. It adds to the overall appeal for me.

As mentioned, there are some cool slots already on the market that Pragmatic Play has had success with. This is bound to be another as it’s enjoyable and the 10,000 x max win potential is pretty good too. What stands out for me is just how easy it is to understand what’s going on and the Multiplier Reel is a fantastic addition. When testing, I must admit that I enjoyed quite a few multiplier wins, although there were plenty of the blue 1x candies too.

If you’ve played Pragmatic’s Sweet Powernudge slot, you’re probably thinking that this is just a different version of that. I understand this point but the visuals here are much better in my opinion, and the Multiplier Reel is much-improved when you compare the two.
