Wild Spirit Slot Review

Wild Spirit is a 5 reel, 20 payline game created by Playtech where you get to explore the free spirits of Native Indians – in Cherokee, ‘wild spirit’ means somebody who doesn’t want to be tied down. Some of the symbols are an Indian squaw (woman), an Indian chief, a wild mustang, an eagle and a drum. Native Indians used to pass their history and culture orally through singing and beating on a drum. This game caters to all pockets as you can play from 20p a spin to £100 a spin.

The white mustang is the highest paying symbol and will reward you with 5,000 times your stake when you get 5 of them on an active payline. The white mustang is also the wild symbol – it can replace any other symbol on an enabled pay line to complete winning combinations except for the scatter and bonus symbols. It can also form winning combinations on its own. If 2 or more wild symbols are found on an active payline, this combination is paid out instead of the regular symbol win if the wild combination is of a higher value.

The Indian squaw is a scatter symbol. At least three scatter symbols found anywhere on the reels simultaneously multiply your wager up to 100 times. The Indian chief is the bonus symbol and can only appear on the first and last reels – it pays 5 times your bet. If you get the chief on reels 1 and 5 simultaneously, you will activate the Bonus feature.

A new screen will appear with Indian symbols painted on animal skin stretched to dry. You will pick symbols that will reveal free spins and/or multipliers until you pick an evil symbol that catches on fire that ends the bonus. There’s up to 27 free spins with an 8x multiplier to be won!

I found the Wild Spirit slot to be an average game by Playtech. I found the bigger wins came in the free spins feature – it’s a medium variance game. Saying that, I do prefer other Playtech titles such as The Avengers (this is excellent), Great Blue and the brand new White King.
