All Batman and Bat wilds lock on the reels with a coin tossed – it will show the Batman or The Joker side of the coin. When the Batman side appears, the reels spin again – new Batman and wild symbols lock into play with the coin flipping again. When The Joker side appears, the feature ends. In total, you can get up to 8 respins.
If you see The Joker symbol appearing stacked on reel 6, you will activate The Joker Respins feature – all The Joker and wild symbols lock on the reels with a coin tossed. If The Joker appears on the coin, new The Joker/wild symbols lock in place with the coin flipping again. The Batman side will end the feature. If you get both the Batman symbol stacked on reel 1 and The Joker symbol stacked on reel 6, the first coin toss which determine which symbols locks for the respins.

You can then win the Mini, Minor, Major of Grand progressive jackpots – the latter is worth a minimum of £1 million.
The Dark Knight is a superb slot from Playtech – I love the respins features in the base game but I found the bigger wins to come with the Gotham City Free Games feature due to getting locked wilds and large The Joker symbols which pay like the high value Batman symbol. Variance wise it’s medium to high so you need to be patient – if you like the superhero theme, Playtech has plenty with Man of Steel and Batman Begins recommended.
