Jackpot Giant Slot Review
Jackpot Giant is a Playtech-powered slot game with a progressive jackpot element. Available to play on mobile and tablet devices, this game has 5 reels and 50 paylines and can be played from just 50p a spin to as much as £4 a spin. Jackpot Giant takes you back to the Stone Age with a focus on erupting yet rewarding volcanos.
Jackpot Giant benefits from stacked symbols – you will see 2 variations of these stacked symbols which show the giant himself behind a volcano and behind the trees. The stacked symbols will occupy 2 vertical reel positions and can give you lucrative wins.
Look out for the bonus symbol which is represented by a volcano with the word ‘Bonus’ on it – these only appear on reels 1 and 5 and if they appear simultaneously in the base game, you will trigger the Giant Bonus feature. You will see a screen that reveal 6 volcanoes as you need to choose 3 of them. Each of them represents a cash prize in additional to an ‘Extra Pick’ or the ‘Win ‘Em All’ option. I’ve managed to win just shy of 50 times my stake here a couple of times.
However, the game is all about the Giant Jackpot feature – this is triggered when you get a 5 of a kind combination with the wild symbol along payline 1 (straight across 5 reels on the middle row). This will trigger the progressive jackpot. You need to play at the maximum stake (£4) to win the progressive jackpot. If you get 5 wilds not on payline 1, you will win 50,000 times your line bet which is decent enough (that’s 1,000 times your stake).
I quite like the Jackpot Giant slot and I found it to be a medium variance slot with the jackpot element. Graphics wise, its fun with the giant himself being quite fun to watch in the Giant Bonus feature. I much prefer Playtech’s Gladiator Jackpot though but this game is a welcome addition to Playtech’s portfolio. Finally, if you want to win a life-changing jackpot, I would try my luck at the NetEnt ones including Mega Fortune Dreams and Hall of Gods which have the biggest jackpots found online.
