Theme: a suspenseful journey into the wilderness

The title gives away that there are crocodiles, and they are joined by numerous other animals on the reels as you spin away. The reels are set on a lake or a river, with palm trees and mountains in the background. It’s not quite the wilderness and you could be forgiven for thinking it’s somewhere in the Everglades with the main attraction being crocodiles. The visuals make it feel like an old game but it’s a 2023 release that could probably have done with some graphical enhancement.

The soundtrack is rather basic too, with no real music on offer and just a low and suspenseful sound as you spin away. Land the Free Games feature and the music intensifies as the background turns to sunset. There are some good sound effects here though, which makes up for the poor soundtrack.

I must admit that I quite liked the Crocodile Blitz Xtreme slot. Ok, so it’s not going to win any awards as one of the best slots in the UK, but there are many things to like such as the fun bonus features and the 4 progressive jackpots. The RTP rate is understandably low and high variance levels are understandable too. But there’s no getting away from the fact that a Blitz jackpot win could land you a few thousand pounds.

The visuals and the soundtrack aren’t anything to write home about as they’re very average. However, I do like how it all comes together.
