The Pandastic Adventure slot has a 5×3 reel setup and 20 fixed paylines. All winning combinations pay from left to right except the Scatter symbol, which pays any. Winners will start from the leftmost reel and only the highest win is paid per line.

Theme: head to the snowy mountains in the Far East

The reels in this slot are set in the Far East (probably China) with snow falling in front of the reels and bamboo on either side. It depicts the life of a Panda well. The symbols are fairly basic, but the lower-paying symbols are made from bamboo, which is a nice touch.

The audio is traditional and fits well with the overall theme. Land the Free Spins feature and the soundtrack becomes a little more upbeat, with leaves flying around as the reels move to the top of the mountains. It’s all very basic but it works well enough here.

On the reels, the A-10 Royals make up the lower-paying symbols. The higher-paying ones include bamboo, armbands, hats and pandas. The panda symbol pays the most, awarding 2, 5 or 30 x the bet for 3, 4 or 5 in combination respectively. The game’s Wild is a temple, and it pays 30 x the bet for 5 in view. There are 2 main bonus features in the Pandastic Adventure slot game. First up is the Free Spins feature where numerous free spins are on offer. Then you’ve got a Temple Treasure Bonus, which can be triggered during the Free Spins feature. Free Spins feature

3 or more Scatters will trigger this bonus feature. Landing 3, 4 or 5 will award a payout of 3x, 5x or 15x the bet respectively and you’ll also get 8 free spins.

Each Wild that lands will contribute 2x the bet to the displayed Bonus prizes. Simply spin away until your free spins run out. If you manage to collect 8 Wilds, this will activate the Temple Treasure Bonus once the free spins have run out. You’ll see the Wild count at the top of the reels in the middle. Temple Treasure Bonus

As mentioned, you can trigger this bonus feature only in the Free Spins feature by collecting 8 Wilds. This is essentially a re-spins feature and you’ll get 3 re-spins to begin with. If a Gold flower lands, the count will reset back to 3. The Gold Flowers will award cash prizes of 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x or 10x.

While this slot looks and sounds pretty good, it failed to deliver on the gameplay. Average base game action and standard bonus features kept the overall score low. There are better alternatives out there, but the 6,500 x max wins might tempt you to try it out.

When I first loaded the slot, I appreciated the simple visuals and the traditional soundtrack. We were off to a good start. Then I started spinning away and was wondering if anything exciting was going to happen. If I’m being completely honest, the base game is very dull. The Free Spins feature isn’t too bad, and the Temple Treasure bonus is OK too. However, you can only reach that through the Free Spins feature.

This looks and feels like a slot that could have been made many years ago. The standard gameplay and the simple graphics don’t deserve a high score. I was disappointed with it, but you have to have a couple of bad ones to produce a great one, right? Feel free to try our demo and decide for yourself.
