As always with gladiator-like slots, I expect a lot of action and intensity. I got the intensity with the soundtrack, which is suspenseful, albeit a little repetitive. But I didn’t get a lot of action with the bonus features. The game has a standard Respins feature and a Free Spins feature that isn’t much better in that regard. Ok, so there is a Mega symbol, but it’s still all pretty standard stuff.
I do wonder if Play’n GO just thought they’d lob an Ancient Rome-themed slot into the mix. But they’ve done it without any innovation. It reminded me of their Gates of troy slot a little, although that’s Ancient Greece rather than Ancient Rome. However, that wasn’t very good either in my opinion.
