The Hammerfall slot sees you join Hector as he wields his awesome hammer. Based on the HammerFall Swedish power metal band, the game is based on the band’s mascot, the paladin Hector who first appears on the cover of their first album. Symbols on the reels include 5 lower value gemstones. The higher value symbols are represented by various coloured shields with moon, hammer, sun and Hector the band’s mascot. Hammerfall Bonus Features

Hammerfall comes with a total of 10 bonus features. With cascading wins and Lightning Wilds, there are 3 Song features which apply when the Hammer Meter is charged. You also have 4 randomly triggered Destruction features to help you form winning clusters/wins.

Cascading Wins feature

When you land a winning cluster of 5 or more symbols, the Cascading Wins feature comes into play. The winning cluster is removed and new symbols fill up the grid. The cascades continue until no more wins can be created.

Super Tiles feature

Super Tiles are randomly highlighted positions behind the grid on every spin. When you get a winning combination on a Super Tile, a Lightning Wild symbol appears on that position on the grid. The winning symbols in the cluster(s) are removed but Lightning Wilds remain on the grid for your next cascade.

Furthermore, Lightning Wilds can also come with a random win multiplier of up to 3x. This multiplier is applied to any further cascade wins. This is known as the Super Tiles feature.

Song features

When you land winning clusters or combinations, the Hammer Meter is charged. 25 winning symbols will fully charge the Hammer Meter. When this occurs, a Song feature of the current world is activated. There are 3 worlds meaning there are 3 Song features. Here’s what they offer:

• Twilight Princess Song feature: a 2×2 Mega Wild is added to the grid
• Second to None Song feature: all high value symbols transform into 1 matching high value symbol. If less than 5 high value symbols are present on the grid, random low value symbols will also be transformed.
• And Yet I Smile Song feature: all low value symbols on the grid are destroyed and removed.

Once a Song feature has occurred, all wins are paid and you move on to the next world.

Hammer High feature

If you manage to charge the Hammer Meter with 50 symbols (so overcharging by 25), the Hammer High feature is activated. You will be awarded 1 free spin with all 3 Song features awarded in succession. Once this takes place, you move to the next world.

Destruction features

When you have a non-winning spin, 1 of 4 Destruction features can activate. Here’s what they offer:

• Never Forgive feature: 1 symbol is selected and all instances of that symbol are pulled towards it destroying the symbols in their path.
• Bring It feature: all high value symbols will destroy or transform into a matching high paying symbol.
• In One Against the World feature: a symbol is randomly chosen with symbols next to symbols on that type either transformed to match it or are destroyed.
• Chain of Command feature: a chain of symbols are created on the grid which then transform into matching symbols or are destroyed.

The Hammerfall slot is well designed and has an abundance of bonus features with 10 on offer. All about charging the Hammer Meter, the Song features can give you big wins if you manage to transform enough symbols into a high value one.
