This is another one of “100” online slot games by Playn’ GO after the success of Moon Princess 100, Rise of Olympus 100, and Sweet Alchemy 100. Having played the previous Gemix releases, I had no doubt that Gemix 100 would be a big hit, coupled with the fact that it has the “100” tag.

I love that the game stuck with the original idea, features, and gameplay, which gave me a sort of welcoming return to the series. The thought of moving into another scenery was one of my main motivators to spin the reels even during dry spells. Although the characters in the 3 magical worlds are unchanged, the backdrop looks sharper and gives a more modern feel.

The 25,000x max win is the most significant improvement, coming a long way from 4,513.5x and 7,500x. However, this comes at a cost. Rather than the signature medium variance, this release has a high volatility. The symbol values have also been reduced. Nonetheless, I had a decent payout on cascading wins with the help of the increasing multiplier.
