Dragon Ship Slot Review

The Dragon Ship slot is a 5 reel, 15 payline game developed by Play ‘N Go. The game is about the Vikings whose ships sometimes had a dragon’s head protruding from the bow and stern. In Dragon Ship, you really feel you’re on the ship when you see through the transparent reels the open sea and hear the creaking sound of the oars and the raging sea. Sail on an expedition with this game full of Viking symbols and raid villages to gather huge booty.

The Viking warrior is the highest paying symbol at 166 times your stake for 5 symbols on an active payline. The maximum bet for all 15 paylines is £18.75 and the minimum bet per line is 15p. The treasure chest is the scatter symbol and can only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.

If you get a treasure chest symbol anywhere on each reel you will activate the Pick-a-Prize Bonus feature. You will be taken to another screen where you must choose one treasure chest out of three to reveal a bonus prize. Here you can win up to 150 times your stake if you’re lucky.

The Fiery Eyed Dragon Masthead is the wild symbol. It acts as a stacked wild (2 or more symbols on a reel) symbol and doubles the payout of any winning combination it completes. When you land a stack of three Fiery Eyed Dragon Masthead symbols on reels 1 and 5, you activate the Free Spins feature where you are given 15 free spins.

The stacked wild symbols will stay stationary for the duration of the bonus thus creating more chances to have winning combinations – you cannot receive additional free spins though. Once you have played all your free spins you are returned to the regular game and the money won is added to your balance. There is also a standard Gamble feature which isn’t worth going into.

Dragon Ship is a fun game to play because of its amazing graphics and sounds – the potential for big wins is appealing as this is a medium variance game. I did find the wins in the free spins feature to be the main attraction of the game with the Pick-A-Prize Bonus feature awarding about 20-30 times your stake on average. Finally, Dragon Ship is available to play on mobile/tablet devices. I much prefer the popular Riches of Ra slot and the oddly-themed Leprechaun Goes Egypt (both by Play ‘N Go).
