7 Demon songs on playlist
Visually, Demon doesn’t disappoint – darkly coloured and with a pentagram in the backdrop, it comes with a cracking soundtrack with 7 Demon songs available in the playlist. Once you’ve played 100 spins, you will be able to play The Devil Rides Out song (an exclusive song).
On the reels you will ass A, K, Q, J and 10 playing cards – you’ll also see stone lady statues, masked demons, gargoyles, crosses and Dave Hill (the band’s lead singer). He is the most rewarding symbol giving you 1, 2.5 or 10 times your stake for 3, 4 or 5 across a payline.
Wild Mask feature
The mask symbol is the wild and replaces all symbols bar the scatter – 3, 4 or 5 on a payline will give you 1.33, 3.33 or 16.67 times your stake. When the wild mask symbol appears on the middle reel, you will trigger the Wild Mask feature – all the lead singer symbols across all reels with then become wild for that spin for increasing winning potential.
Free Spins feature with multipliers
The other symbol to look out for is the wild amulet which appears only on reels 1 and 5. When it appears on both these reels as well as the Wild Mask on reel 3, you will activate the Free Spins feature. The band’s One Helluva Night song is played in this feature.
Anyway, you will get 6 free spins if the Wild Mask is on the top or bottom row on reel 3 and 11 free spins if the Wild Mask is on the middle row (on reel 3). More importantly, each free spin comes with a multiplier which is randomly chosen – it’s 2x, 3x, 5x or 8x.
Hell Spins feature with 16x multipliers
Look out for the Wild Amulet appearing (on reels 1 and 5) during a free spin – this triggers the Hell Spins feature. The multiplier you had on the triggering free spin will be carried though (it could be up to 8x). You will then receive between 4 and 8 Hell Spins – if a Wild Mask appears on the middle reel, you will get 6 to 10 more Hell Spins.
If you got the Wild Amulet on reels 1 and 5 as well as the Wild Mask on reel 3 when triggering the Hell Spins feature or once in the Hell Spins, the multiplier will be doubled – this means you could play with a multiplier as high as 16x. This multiplier is only for the Hell Spins – if you have any free spins remaining, they are played once the Hell Spins feature has finished.
Superb soundtrack & high variance
Demon looks great and has a good soundtrack. I like the fact you can benefit from plenty of wilds in the base game but it’s the Hell Spins feature where the real big winning potential comes from – this is due to the potential 16x multiplier on offer.
If you were to fill the reels with Wild Mask symbols, you’d win 500 times your stake – add in the potential 16x multiplier and this number would be 8,000 times your stake. However, Play ‘N Go has capped the maximum win amount to 2,500 times your stake per spin, free spin or Hell Spin. Variance wise, it’s high.
Whilst I like Demon, it would have been better if there wasn’t a win cap – 8,000 times your stake per Hell Spin would be superb. Anyway, it’s a good slot yet again from Play ‘N Go. If you like the theme, Sabaton (also by Play ‘N Go) would be my pick.
