Immortal Romance Slot Review

Immortal Romance is powered by the impressive Microgaming and has a vampire theme as is about a “dark take of love and intrigue”. It has 5 reels and 243 ways to win and has a big 60,000 coin jackpot behind it (just get 5 Lion Door Knocker symbols) as well as a top payout of 3,645,000 coins (that’s 1,245,000 more than Thunderstruck II).

Look out for the Wild Desire feature which is triggered at random – this feature can turn up to 5 reels completely wild. I’ve had some pretty big wins from this feature from 4 reels turning wild. However, the main attraction of the game is The Chamber of Spins feature. You can trigger entry into the 4 level feature by getting 3 or more Lion Door Knocker symbols. Each level is represented by 4 characters (1 for each level) – Amber, Troy, Michael and Sarah.

The first level of The Chamber of Spins is Amber – you will get access to the subsequent levels when you access the feature a certain amount of times (sound like Thunderstruck II?). Here are the details of what you will get at each level:

  1. Amber feature: 1st-4th feature triggers – you will be entitled to 10 free spins with a 5x multiplier. What’s good is that free spins can be retriggered.
  2. Troy feature: 5th-9th feature triggers – you will get 15 free spins with Vampire Bats feature. Getting Vampire Bats will turn symbols into 2x and 3x multipliers – if you get 2, you will get a 6x multiplier.
  3. Michael feature: 10th-14th feature triggers – here you will get 20 free spins with Rolling Reels. You can carry on winning here as consecutive wins will increase the multiplier value from 2x to 5x.
  4. Sarah feature: 15th feature trigger onwards – you will receive 25 free spins with Wild Vine feature. The Wild Vine symbol is key on reel 3 and it will randomly change symbols into wilds. Getting 2, 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will get you 1, 2, 3 or 4 free spins respectively too. This means you can get up to 29 free spins.

Immortal Romance is pretty much a clone of Thunderstruck II but with higher payouts. The 4 level bonus round is enthralling though and has been quite rewarding to me in general. I didn’t find much difference between the levels though in terms of return but I quite like the Michael feature with consecutive wins giving you up to a 5x multiplier.
