Despite its rather futuristic theme, there’s an almost retro feel to Mutagnes. The gameplay here is simple and I’ve seen similar features in plenty of other slots. The cascading reels, symbol upgrades and expanding wilds can come together very nicely in the free spins round though.

It’s a similar story with the design, which is perfectly solid without offering anything earth-shattering.
In fact, that’s a pretty good way to describe the game as a whole. There’s nothing bad about any of it. Mutagenes is a solid all-rounder but not a particularly flashy performer.
