The Animafia slot is played over 5 reels, 5 rows, and with 40 fixed paylines., Although your play area isn’t the regular 5×3 layout, creating wins is as easy as ever. You just need to land 3+ more matching symbols)on adjacent reels from left to right, starting from reel 1.

We always like that Peter & Sons slots always come with great backstories and Animafia is no different. This time, we’re transported to a zoo, where the animals are forming a rebellion. At first glance, we were in love with Animafia. The design has that classic Peter & Sons look about it, and the theme is original and entertaining. What’s more, the promise of growing, monster wilds reminded us of the likes of Fat Drac and Fat Rabbit from Push Gaming – which we very much enjoyed.

Unfortunately, the gameplay felt a little long-winded. Whilst the Power Wilds helped create big combinations in the base game, the free spins round took a while to trigger. In addition, once in there, we found it difficult to grow our wilds to 5×5 size.

The problem with the Animafia slot is that you need to progress far to have fun. It’s a lot of effort for a game that only pays out max wins of 3,200 x bet too.If you’ve got the stamina and the bankroll, however, it’s worth a spin just to see the Animafia characters.
