Sweetie Land is a sugary-themed slot Pariplay. It’s a simple, 5 reel, 25 payline game that comes with cartoon-style visuals and a pick me bonus round. Have a nibble, on all devices, from between 25p and £25 per spin.

The design here has a simple feel – the reels are set against a backdrop of fluffy clouds and green hills filled with lollipops and marshmallows. You’ll see chocolate style A to 10 values spinning around the reels. They’re joined sweeties that pay up to 200 coins per payline, cherries which award up to 250 coins, a chocolate bar which offers up to 500 coins. The tastiest of the standard symbols is the red and white candy cane – land 3, 4 or 5 of these and you’ll pocket 50, 160 or 1,000 coins.

The crocodile is the game’s wild – it can land on all 5 reels and substitutes for everything bar the bonus and scatter. Find 2, 3, 4 or 5 of the croc on a payline and you can look forward to a payout of 2, 5, 10 or 5,000 coins. The ice cream cones symbol is the scatter – it doesn’t trigger any features but it does offer a payout of 3, 6 or 30 times your total stake if you manage to land 3, 4 or 5 of them anywhere on the reels.

Sweetie Land comes with a single feature round – the Cookie Jar Bonus feature. It’s triggered by landing 3 or more of the gingerbread man bonus symbol on the same spin. You’ll then be taken to a new screen where you pick from the 6 cookie jars shown. Each 1 contains a number which is then multiplied by your line bet.

And that’s pretty much it – this is a very simple game with little in the way of features. We hit a steady stream of smaller wins but found the gameplay to be a little dull and repetitive. Sweetie Land is a nicely designed slot though and the jaunty soundtrack is a nice complement.

We’re not mad keen on these sugary-themed slots and Sweetie Land didn’t win us over. It’s solid enough but not tasty enough to have us coming back for more. I would rather play some of Pariplay’s other slots with Sharknado and Blood Shot recommended.
