Vampire Fortunes is powered by Novomatic and comes with 5 reels and an All Pays engine. Playable across desktop, mobile and tablet devices from 50p to £5 per spin, this vampire themed offering comes with free spins with lower value symbols removed as well as the chance to win 4 progressive jackpots.

Visually, Vampire Fortunes is quite nice – with a graveyard at night time in the background, symbols include A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 card values as well as moon rings, bats, goblets, potion bottles and a female vampire. The latter is the most rewarding with 3, 4 or 5 across a payline giving you 1, 3 or 12 times your stake respectively.

There are also 2 wild symbols – the blue one replaces all symbols bar the red wild and shows up only on reels 2 and 4. The red wild substitutes for all symbols and only appears on reel 3 (the middle reel). If the red wild is part of a win, it will be doubled as a 2x multiplier applies.

Vampire Fortunes comes with a Free Games feature which can be accessed if you get 3, 4 or 5 moon scatters from left to right (starting from reel 1). As well as 5, 10 or 50 times your stake, you will receive 10 free spins. On every free spin, only the high value symbols will appear meaning no A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 card values on show. As you’d expect, you can retrigger the feature indefinitely.

The most important symbols are the 2 wilds – if both the red and blue wild appear on the same spin, you can randomly enter the Jackpot feature. You’ll then pick from coffins to reveal coloured gems – if you match 3 of the same colour, you’ll win that jackpot. In order of value, there’s the Mini, Minor, Major and Grand Jackpots with the Grand Jackpot the most valuable (minimum of £5,000).

Vampire Fortunes may have a scary theme but the gameplay is rather simple – variance wise it’s in the middle with top wins of 1,200 times your stake on each spin/free spin if the red wild is part of a win. The bigger wins will obviously come with the progressive jackpots.

By the way, it’s identical to Novomatic’s Pyramid Fortunes in terms of gameplay and jackpots – just has a different theme. If you like the vampire theme though, Playtech’s Vampire: Princess of Darkness is much better and offers payouts of up to 7,500 times your stake on each spin!
