Bull Rush is a 5 reel, 20 payline slot from Novomatic that can be played on all devices from 20p to £50 a spin. With a bull fighting theme, it benefits from a free spins feature where bulls appear to give you a multiplier up to 16x on every free spin!
Visually, Bull Rush is typical of what you’d expect from a Novomatic offering – the red/orange/yellow plain background resembles sunset I imagine and symbols on the plain dark red reels include A, K, Q, J and 10 playing cards, pink roses, wine bottles and glasses, Spanish guitars and the Matador himself. The latter is the most rewarding symbol giving you 100 times your stake for 5 across a payline.
The angry bull is the game’s wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols bar the scatter – it doesn’t offer any payouts though. The scatter is the Arena symbol with 4 or more anywhere on the reels triggering the Free Games feature – here you will receive 12 free spins.
During the free spins, you will benefit from the Bull Rush feature – hopefully you’ve brought your red cape along as you’ll want to attract as many bull wilds as possible. Beginning with a 2x multiplier, each additional bull wild appearing on a free spin will increase the multiplier – up to 16x:
|1 Bull = 2x multiplier||9 Bulls = 10x multiplier|
|2 Bulls = 3x multiplier||10 Bulls = 11x multiplier|
|3 Bulls = 4x multiplier||11 Bulls = 12x multiplier|
|4 Bulls = 5x multiplier||12 Bulls = 13x multiplier|
|5 Bulls = 6x multiplier||13 Bulls = 14x multiplier|
|6 Bulls = 7x multiplier||14 Bulls = 15x multiplier|
|7 Bulls = 8x multiplier||15 Bulls = 16x multiplier|
|8 Bulls = 9x multiplier|
Basically, the more bull wilds you get, the higher the multiplier. I found Bull Rush to be a medium to high variance game with potential wins of up to 1,000 times your stake on every spin. The bigger wins will come in the feature due to the multipliers but you need to be patient and lucky to win big. If you like the theme, I highly recommend ELK Studios’ Wild Toro which has a similar theme and is all about the wilds.
