D-Day Bonus Features

Random Bonus features

In the base game, 5 random bonus features can come into play. Here are all the details:

• Atomic Wild feature: On the reel area, a random position is chosen which transforms into a Wild symbol with a random multiplier between 10x and 100x. If the chosen position has a Wild symbol on it, then +1 is added to the random multiplier. If multiplier features trigger simultaneously, the Atomic Wild feature will also come into play first.
• Bomber feature: Randomly on the reels, 2 to 5 Bombers can land (1 Bomber per reel). All paying symbols on these reels are transformed into Wilds from top to bottom. If you see the Anti-Air symbol present on the chosen reel, the Wild transformation stops just above the Anti-Air symbol. The multiplier increases by 1 for that Wild is a Wild is present on the chosen reel with a Bomber.
• Stuka feature: Look out for Stuka symbols appearing diagonally either from left to right or from right to left. Stukas will split all paying symbols and double their size. Up to 7 Stukas can appear on each spin with 1 Stuka per diagonal. This can lead to 20,340 ways to win at the maximum.
• Panzer feature: Like Bombers, 2 to 5 Panzers can appear randomly on different rows (with 1 Panzer per row). Every low-value symbol on the chosen rows is transformed into Wilds except the Foot Soldier symbol. If a Wild symbol appears on the chosen row, the multiplier increases by 1 for that Wild.
• Howitzer feature: The Howitzer symbol randomly chooses between 1 and 7 paying symbols and transforms them into Wild symbols. This doesn’t apply to Commando or Wild symbols though.

Scatter feature

If you land 2 Scatter symbols, you may trigger any of the above bonus features in the base game. If 1 of the Scatters lands on reel 5, the Atomic Wild feature will be triggered instead.

Neptune Spins feature

The Neptune Spins feature is triggered by landing 3 Scatters. With 8 free spins awarded, you then get a pick-and-reveal option which reveals 2 of the 5 bonus features above. If you trigger the feature with a Scatter on reel 5, the Atomic Wild feature is activated with only 1 option to pick from the remaining 4 features. Invasion Spins feature

Boosted xBet feature

The D-Day slot takes things further with amazing graphics and a full-on soundtrack that will have you searching for a bomb shelter. Graphically, Allies and Nazis appear for an all-out battle where your only hope of victory or survival comes down to going 2 feet in.

When it comes to the gameplay, the base game can see 5 bonus features trigger randomly. I quite like the Bomber feature which the reels carpeted to transform many positions into Wilds. The Stuka feature sees symbols split diagonally for many more ways to win.

2 Scatters landing can trigger 1 of the bonus features too. The Atomic Wild feature is the best though with a Wild symbol with a multiplier up to 100x appearing. It can cause some serious damage especially if it combines with the Bomber or Stuka features.

With 3 free spins features, more triggering Scatters will see you play them with more bonus features. If you’re lucky enough to play the Overlord Spins feature, all features are in play including the Atomic Wild. The latter is the key to landing devastating wins in my opinion.
